At this level we still use the Riyad ul Atfal Series to teach some key jurisprudential elements relating to Ibadah. Book three is used. Ahkam Taklifiyyaj and Wada’iyyah are broadened at this stage with a lot of Uslooli principles and life examples. We take students on a journey of how classical scholars deduced matters of religion and how they tapped from the sources of Shar’ah.
Students are exposed on this module to a lot of vocabularies and sentence structuring. We use Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk on this model. Students practice in class different modes of conversations thereby increasing their confidence to converse in Arabic and read from texts.
The Tajweed module at this level is more Advanced. All the Ahkam of noon sakina, offhand, ikfa, qalqalah are taught extensively to the students. This module is example-driven which means students after learning this module from the Quran will be asked to fetch more examples by themselves.
The book “The Key” is used to teach students Arabic Grammar. This module is meant to give students the required tool to break down sentences as they either read or write them. They are taught how to analyze sentences figuring out verbs, nouns, adjectives and other elements of grammar. This module helps students to read Arabic texts more effectively and also write more accurately. The usages of pronouns which is absolutely fundamental in Arabic is introduced at this level.
