The Journey

Fiqh module: -

This module starts with the basic of Ibadah for a Muslim. From purification to prayer. We learn the rudiments of our requirements as Muslims through this course as far as Ibadah is concerned. We use the standars Riyad ul Atfal book 1 and 2 with 30 lessons put together. Students after this course have the confidence of purifying themselves and praying properly.

Identification and Pronunciation module: -

Students at Prebasic level will begin with Identifying letters from Alif to Ya. They will go through a rigorous training which consists writing, reading and several class exercises to upgrade their capacity to identify letters and pronounce them properly. This module prepares them to read well. The main book for this module is a specially written book by Shamsudden Jumare titled “Identification and Pronunciation Book Series”. After this module, students read and identify with ease in preparation for learning Arabic.

Modifications and Behaviors module: -

Modifications and behaviors go hand in hand with Pronunciation and Identification. The book primarily used is also specially written for this purpose; its titled “Modifications and Behaviors Book Series by Shamsudeen Jumare.

Qur’an Tajweed module:

We use the bottom Surahs that are short and contain a lot of Tajweed issues in them to teach students. We focus not on memorization at this point but on upgrading the proficiency of students in reading the Quran. Students are given the opportunity to practice in and out of class with relevant resources.
