Dr. Jabir Sani Maihula

He is an enthusiastic Scholar who specializes in many Islamic sciences, the likes of Hadith, Jurisprudence and Law. He obtained his first degree at the Islamic University of Madinah in field of Hadith and also a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Law and Politics at the same institution, a Masters degree holder in Law (LL.M) which he obtained from the University of East London and a Ph.D holder from the prestigious University of Nottingham in the UK.

Sheikh Dr. Jabir Sani Maihula has authored many academic papers, worked on many manuscripts and even translated some others from Arabic. He has also published some books among which is Ibn Taymiyya in the Literature of contemporary Jihadist.

He is the Founder and Director of Imamu malik Foundation, Sokoto. The Chief Imam of Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Jumu’at Mosque, Guiwa lowcost Sokoto and also the Head, Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Sokoto State University, Sokoto.

Sheikh Jabir has presented papers and a number of lectures in conferences and seminars both nationally and internationally.
